The Destroyer

Ever watch a man destroy himself
Eaten up from the inside out
Swimming with his own lies and immersed in his own vanity
His disjointed mouth speaking lies to his own ears
convincingly arguing he’s not as shattered and broken as he appears

He, the sower of sorrow
reaping the benefits of others pain in his madness, his rage, his violence
In solitude he dreams, hiding away from himself
insanity emptied like found treasure
he delights in his own pain
his own torture room
erupting with loss and inverted with pain
